Ivy Tech Community College is a public institution of higher education with its main campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ivy Tech has the largest public college campus in the state of Indiana and is the state’s largest provider of technical and technological education. The college offers more than 150 degree and certificate programs in a wide range of fields, including: business, computer information technology, nursing, early childhood education, criminal justice, and many more.

If you are interested in attending Ivy Tech, the first step is to fill out an online application. Once your application has been processed, you will be contacted by an admissions representative who will help you choose the best program of study for your needs and guide you through the registration process.

Ivy Tech Login

Ivy Tech Login is the process by which currently enrolled students register for classes each semester. This is done through the myIvy student portal. To login, students will need their Ivy Tech username and password.

If you have forgotten your username or password, please contact the Ivy Tech Help Desk at 1-888- 443-8324. They will be able to assist you in resetting your password or retrieving your username.

Once you have logged in to myIvy, you will be on the “Dashboard” page. From here, you can access all of the features of the portal including registering for classes. To register for classes, click on the “Students” tab and then select “Registration” from the drop-down menu.

On the registration page, you will need to select the semester for which you wish to register as well as your campus location. Once you have selected these options, click on the “Classes” tab. This will take you to a searchable list of all of the classes being offered during that semester at that campus.

You can search for classes by subject, course number, or keyword. Once you have found a class that interests you, click on the “Add” button to add it to your shopping cart. You can add as many classes as you like to your shopping cart before checking out and officially registering for them.

Find Your Classes

Ivy Tech Community College offers a wide variety of courses to choose from. You can find your classes in a number of ways:

-Class Schedules: Class schedules are available online and in print. The online class schedule is updated daily, so be sure to check back often for the most current information. To view the class schedule online, visit ivytech.edu/schedules.

-DegreeWorks: DegreeWorks is an advising tool that allows you to see what courses you need to take in order to complete your degree. To get started, log in to myIvy and click on the DegreeWorks link under the Academic Records section.

-Talking with an Advisor: Advisors are here to help you plan your path to graduation. Schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling 812-330-6001 or visiting Advising Services in person.

Register for Classes

Visit my.ivytech.edu to register for your classes. New, transfer and returning students will use Ivy Tech Self-Service to register for classes. You will need your Student ID number and your birth date to login. If you do not know your Student ID number, please contact the Welcome Center on your campus.

If you have never attended Ivy Tech, you will need to create an account in Self-Service before you can register for classes. Follow the instructions on how to create an account.

Current students will login and follow instructions to add or drop courses from their schedule.
